What is 3D CAD Design?
3D CAD (Computer-Aided Design) design utilises advanced software to create realistic, three-dimensional models of your bathroom. This allows you to:
Visually explore your space: Immerse yourself in a virtual representation of your bathroom, allowing you to explore different layouts, fixtures, and finishes before any construction begins.
Identify potential issues: Catch any potential space limitations or layout conflicts early on in the design process, saving time and money during the renovation.
Make informed decisions: Confidently finalise design choices with the ability to see exactly how your selections will come together in the final space.
Upon purchase of our 3D Design Service you will be emailed a template survey form which can be completed from the comfort of your own home. Please note if you are within a 10 mile radius you may request a home visit.

• Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email from us with instructions and the name of your designer. Included in the email is a survey form. Complete this form, attaching your bathroom layout, measurements & any useful information to help us. Remember the more information you provide at this stage, the better we can assist you.
• Have a look at products and items online for inspiration, or visit our bathroom showroom to get an idea of what styles, colours and features you like and save the images ready to send over to us. This really helps us envisage your dream bathroom and a good starting point for us.
• When we have received your survey form, we will email you to acknowledge receipt and let you know at this stage if we require any further information to get started. If you want to get one step ahead, our survey form is available to download below.
• We will then get to work creating your designs. Within 2-3 days, you will be emailed at least four fully rendered images of your bathroom for either your amendment or approval.
• Once you are happy with the designs, we will provide you with a full quote. The quote will reflect the deducted design fee should you wish to go ahead and place an order.
From the point we have all the information, the timeframe for receiving your images will be around 2-3 working days approximately. However, this will be dependent on availability and demand at the time, so we will always communicate and agree timeframes from the outset and advise if this service is likely to take longer.
Ideally you should start the design process several months in advance of any work taking place to leave enough time for the process, and then to account for the product order timeframes, as these will be subject to availability. Some special order items can also take around 12 weeks to come into us, so it's worth taking this into consideration.
Please refer to our terms and conditions which will be emailed over to you alongside your quote. It contains important information such as our returns policy.
To ensure a smooth and successful bathroom design consultation, here's what you can provide to help us get started with your design.
Measurements and Floor Plan:
Accurate measurements of your bathroom: This includes length, width, height, door and window placement, location of existing plumbing fixtures, and any odd angles or architectural features. You can take these measurements yourself or have a professional do it for you. Floor plan sketch or digital scan: Having a basic floor plan helps the designer visualise the space and understand the layout. Even a rough sketch with important dimensions marked suffice.
Budget:
Be upfront about your budget: This allows the designer to recommend fixtures, materials, and finishes that fit your financial constraints.
Needs and Preferences:
Number of users: Consider how many people will be using the bathroom regularly. Desired functionality: Think about how you'll be using the space. Do you need a bathtub or just a shower? Do you need ample storage space? Style preferences: Do you have a particular style in mind, such as modern, traditional, minimalist, or spa-like?
Inspiration photos or samples:
Tear out pictures from magazines or collect samples of materials you like, such as tile or countertops. This will give the designer a good idea of your aesthetic preferences.
Additional Considerations:
Accessibility needs: If anyone using the bathroom has mobility limitations, discuss grab bars, shower seats, and other accessibility features.
Existing fixtures: Let the designer know if you plan to keep any existing fixtures, such as the toilet or vanity. By providing this information, you'll equip your bathroom designer to create a space that meets your needs, style, and budget.
